The Super Eagles' Captain, John Mikel Obi will now be making a return to the Eagles squad after missing out in action for his country since Nigeria's elimination at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Obi confirmed his readiness to travel with the Nigerian team to Egypt for the 2019 African Cup of Nations. This comes after meeting head coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr who had a chat with the former Chelsea star ahead of the Nations Cup.
