NYSC to Get New DG

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has a new Director General. Aledeh exclusively reports.

According to information obtained, Brig. Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim is the new Director General. An official announcement is expected to follow soon, according to a senior official within the scheme.
The new NYSC DG, Ibrahim is the Registrar of the Nigerian Army University, Biu

He is replacing Maj. General Suleiman Kazaure who has been the NYSC DG since April 2016.

Kazaure recently emerged the first NYSC DG to be promoted to the position of a Major General in over 45 years since the scheme’s establishment.

The NYSC is a scheme set up by the Nigerian government to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country.
