IT’S GOOD FRIDAY - John Mahama Easter message to Ghanaians

The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has issued an Easter message to the people of Ghana saying it's Good Friday, the day our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins.

He Prayed that may the cross of Jesus Christ and the power in his resurrection strengthen and renew us, as we strive to build a better nation.

John Mahama served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017.
He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from 2009 to 2012, and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.

His Facebook 'Easter Message' reads:

IT’S GOOD FRIDAY.
The day our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins.

May the cross of Jesus Christ and the power in his resurrection strengthen and renew us, as we strive to build a better nation.

I believe through this renewal, we shall learn to love one another for the greater good and prosperity of every Ghanaian.

Let us also remember to drive safely and ensure an accident-free Easter.
