Weep Not For Sowore, Nigerians!

After a poorly conducted election by the grossly incompetent Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I have seen the level at which a good majority of people who do not like Sowore laugh at him because he might not be announced the winner of this election.
He has been called many unprintable names all in the bid to mock and humiliate him. Some ridiculously posited that he should be declared winner as the President of the Federal Republic of Facebook. Even those of us that are strong believers in the Take It Back movement have been dragged to the cleaners by many; we took equal parts in the shameful degradation and humiliation. We clearly saw through the ignorance and arrogance of our adversaries and the deafening silence of our friends and comrades.

But, do not be sorry for Sowore. Do not worry about us, his unrepentant disciples. Do not weep for AAC!

However, weep for the millions of downtrodden masses who are going to be victims of a dysfunctional system for yet another four years. Weep for the Nigerian masses that will be into perpetual hardship in four years to come. Weep for insecurity and the increasingly high number of mortality rate. Weep for the crucification of rule of law and democratic rule in this land in the next four years. Weep not for Sowore but for the majority of Nigerians who will never taste good governance in the next four years. Weep for Nigerians who will wallow in abject poverty in four years time. Sowore has not lost, it is the masses that are at the receiving end. Instead of pitying Sowore, why not have compassion on that Nigerian masses who cannot afford a day meal for the next four years?

To those with the thought that I am pessimistic or quite unpatriotic, has it ever been known that a poisonous tree produce a good fruit?

Today, we are proud of where and what we stood for and history will always be our defence. We are so proud to say that amidst adversities and uncertainties we stood for our convictions and consciences. We were not part of those openly enthroning and supporting the thieving ruling class divided into the two major political parties. When we stood for what is right, just and fair, why should you have compassion over us? Only a simpleton goes around to mock a pro-masses mandate whose campaigns was sponsored from the sweat of hardworking patriots, and champion an anti-masses cum anti-Nigeria mandate whose campaigns were sponsored from ill gotten national resources meant for all of us.

Ours was to bring about a situation where the many resources of this country will be transferred from the greedy to the needy. We had the thought that the teeming masses of Nigeria are tired of this mess we call government and are ready for the democratic revolution where the thieving ruling class will be openly rejected; only to realise that our people are in love with this chain of stagnancy and retrogression. Many good consciences were bought with money that cannot prepare a pot of banga soup. The corrupt politicians have weaponised poverty to retain power and fame.

Instead of jumping around because of Sowore, jump around because of this failed system wherein we are all victims. Tighten your seatbelts, we are in for another four years of rough ride.

Look, Sowore might not be really affected by the hardship the incoming government would bring. Sowore is not poor. He can meet his daily needs. Sowore will legitimately have his way in the face of oppression and hardship. He has not loss anything. The masses have only denied themselves another opportunity to get liberated.

Cry more for the bereaved and not the helper of the bereaved. Nigerians will regret not standing by the voice of liberation and we shall be vindicated so soon. Weeping for Sowore will amount to filling basket with water. Weep for Nigeria. Weep for the hopeless masses. Weep for yourself. Weep for your generation.
